If you’re anything like us, you work. A lot. As much as you say you love it, and mean it when you say that you love it, sometimes working nonstop sucks. Yes, we just admitted that. You know you think the same thing when it is 4 a.m. on a weekend and you’re trying to make the finishing touches on something while your friends are just leaving the bar. Not that you necessarily wanted to be at the bar, but because you would like the down time. Ironically, when you have “down time,” you want to work. However, we know in the back of our heads that the results will be worth it. Great work ethic, lack of sleep and a caffeine addiction combined can wear on us all. What do we prescribe? Society has a tendency to try and deny us the right to live as the people we were born to be. To live as someone you’re not is to entertain mediocrity, and that is a travesty of life. In this moment, on this day, we encourage you to take hold of who you are and never stop celebrating that. Wake up every morning excited to be you, because you have the DNA of no one else in this world. That means you can conceptualize ideas that no one else can. You can find innovative solutions that no one else can. You can see things the way no one else can.

In a job market that is so competitive, your individuality is one of the few things that differentiates you from the next interviewee in line.
